How to Obtain a Warranty

If you have determined that a battery purchased from an IBMA dealer needs to be replaced we first recommend returning to the original location which your battery was purchased. If you are away from this geographical area and it is not feasible to return, call 1-888-869-IBMA (4262) for assistance with your battery warranty. Upon contact with our IBMA operator, and in order for your warranty to be validated, you will be asked the following:

  1. Do you have your original proof of purchase?
    1. If you do have your original proof of purchase, you will be asked for your contact information
  2. If you do not have your original proof of purchase, then a copy must be obtained from the dealer in which your battery was purchased before our assistance center can validate and assist you with a warranty.

Once a legitimate warranty has been validated:

Once we have collected the above information, you will be asked to proceed with the purchase of a new replacement battery from the store or dealer of your choice. (the store will most likely require your current battery as an exchange).

A COPY OF A REPLACEMENT BATTERY RECEIPT WILL BE REQUIRED PRIOR TO AN ISSUE OF CREDIT!!

Responsibility of IBMA

The responsibility of IBMA is to reimburse you for the unused portion of your defective battery, and for this reason we need to obtain the information that we do. Once we have confirmed the remaining warranty owed, a check will be issued.
